Quick stock test

This was a quick stock test i did.
1. I tried to print onto the colour of stock which i felt related to the theme. The yellow was to resemble the colour of the warning sign you get. The red was for love and the off white colour was suppose to represent the colour of money.
2. The history of Mr Polly cover was printed on quiet a light in weight stock. I wanted to print on something which felt a bit like money as this would relate well.

After doing this test, i felt the colours weren't working as a set and they weren't visually appealing as they looked a bit gloomy. The paper stock is also a bit too thin as the design inside the cover is spilling through the front. As you can see i used the first pattern which i made for the first test i did. This was simply to see what the pattern would look like if i was to print on the inside cover.

Things i need to consider after doing this:
>Heavier paper stock
>Colour
