Final Chosen Covers

These are my final chosen layouts for my book covers. I found the format of these worked best out of all the ones i had experimented with. This is because the character could be seen in each cover, for example, the pound sign in The History of Mr Polly and the union jack in Love and Mr Lewisham. I felt in the other layouts lost the main teaser to what the book was about. The back page worked well for all 3 titles as the blurb fit well within the space i had allocated for the background of the story which didn't work as well for the other layouts i tried. I think a bit of re-adjusting and accurate lining up needs to be done so all three book covers look consistant and work well as a set. The Mr Polly book covers HG Wells title looks a bit close and the Mr Lewisham title on the spine of the book looks a bit big which i need to be reduced aswell. After this i will be happy with my layout, then i need to sort out my colour system and i will have a complete book set!
