Box

I placed the books and bookmarks into the box to see how things were going to fit together. I haven't added the posters yet but i will, i just need to fold them. I placed black shiny material inside the box to give it a more 'special feel' so it didn't just feel like opening anything ordinary. I thought this would have been a good idea for designing something limited edition.

My Plan from here:
>Need to get the folders folded
>Need to somehow place and stick the fabric into the inside of the box so it doesn't look like its just there, however i do like the idea of the audience having to opening the fabric themselves to find what's inside.
>Need to design some kind of label or wrap around to be placed around the box to keep it together, add a title and just to make it that little bit special. I have also thought about designing a little booklet which will be attached onto the label to inform people about what is inside the box and also educate them a little about the author.

Further Poster Development

Development

i have decided that the set of posters below were the best layouts out of the ones i did because they were simple and the coloured band against the black background contrasted well. However..i'm not sure about the titles being so small. I suppose small and subtle works well but i'm going to further develop this to see what else i can do with this layout.

My Plan:
> Print digitally as i think the grey is working well
> Black foil the vector shapes. The only problem i have with this is sometimes the foil doesn't stick properly and it may look my posters look tacky. I am also worried about the foil not working on the grey aswell because the last time i did it, i used a photocopy for the foil to stick so im not too sure.
> Print with James in the digital room, and print the vectors in the clear spot gloss from the printers as i know from past experience this is an effective process.

Limited Edition Poster Design

To compliment the book covers i have decided to design some posters. Below are a few initial ideas. I have taken the colours of the books and worked with the vector shapes to generate some designs.
